Weather
It is a good time to be in Caspavova. The flowers are blooming, the trees growing their leaves again. Showers hydrate the land, making low rivers gush with fresh water. The weather is really quite unpredictable, but it is warming up and everything is becoming regular after the winter.

Danarcova
Dracmead Very little shrubbery resides here. This place is mostly just burning sand, so it isn't a very comfortable place to be in the daylight. There are only the occasional shrub and cactus, but there is never water here. It's a very harsh place, one you wouldn't want to get caught in unprepared. However, when the sun hides its face and the moon shows her triumph, this is a very beautiful place. The sand is soft and cool, almost relaxing to the touch. The shrubs seem and cacti seem to perk up. And the moon's reflection shines silver on the sand. This place is as contradictory as they come.

Aldlyn Barrens It is warm here, the air dry. Only shrubs and cacti shade the sizzling dirt. Not much of a desert, but not much of an oasis either. There isn't usually much water here, but the leaves of the shrubs hold much of it. There isn't much to see here, except the dirt and shrubs. If you like dry, warm places, this is the place for you.

Aelborough Aelborough is a magnificent place. It is extremely dry, but it is more shaded than the other lands of Danarcova. This long canyon, where a river once ran, has been carved into the most intricate shapes you could ever imagine. High walls rise up on either side, providing shade at certain hours of the day. But in addition to the wide wall, random formations rise up in the middle of the canyon in some places. If you look at them just right, you might see a wolf in mid-stride, a bear standing on its hind legs in threat, or even an eagle with its wings stretched wide. The possibilities are endless. This is a wonderful place to bring pups and kits. Small pools of water sometimes accumulate here, so it isn't completely dry.

Ostmont Ostmont is mainly a dry place, as it is closest to Danarcova, but there is much more rain every year than in the deserts. There is grass here and a few shrubs, but there are no cacti. There are trees, only a few, but they are here. This is a very interesting place to come, because there are almost walls of weather. This is the place where cool weather meets hot weather. In the middle of this territory you can see the air, for it swirls and spirals. There is very little vegetation around this spot, and it is prone to storms like tornadoes. If you ever come here on one of its better days, you can walk from one side of this battling air-front to the other and immediately feel the difference. Moving west, you can cross and instantly feel the burning weather of the deserts. Moving east, you can cross the line and step into marvelously cool weather, quite a relief from the heated desert climates.

Erihurst This is an absolutely beautiful place bursting with life. There are mounds of dirt where pararie dogs have made their colonies. This is a mostly flat land with long, dry grasses and small streams. Trees are few and far between, but they offer shade when you can find them. From here you can see the distant mountains of Itysor, though they are blue and puny from this far away. Everything here is adapted for the life on a prairie; dry, warm summers and freezing white winters.

Paeda This is an interesting place as well. There are more trees here, but they aren't close together or placed in bunches. Green grasses and bubbling springs are abunant here, and it is a great place to live.

Westerloch This place is the western half of the Great River that cuts the whole of Caspavova in half. The Westerloch is a marvelous place, but it isn't all the river that you will see here. There is a great lake that is fed by a branch of the river, and it is surrounded by cliffs on two sides. The westernmost side is mainly beach down by the water, but the south and northern sides are bocked by deathly cliffs. And on the eastern side it is almost impossible to get to the water, for this is where the river flows into the loch. Because of the general flow of the river and the sudden interruption of the branch causes this stream to swirl and snarl angrily in a series of rapids. Even from the west side of the loch you can see the raging water as it enters the lake. Eventually it calms down near the middle of the lake, but there are waves that lap on the cliffs, making them slick and easy to fall off. It is best to avoid the cliffs, for it isn't the fall that will kill you. The churning waters will drag you down and almost certainly drown you. So this is a place to beware, for there are many dangers.

Valburn This is a bridge of stone that stretches out over the river. The river has carved a space through it, making a wide, uneven hole. This is the only way to get across the raging river. It is fairly wide, enough for two wolves to walk side-by-side and not step on the edge, but it's still easy to fall into the waters. Especially after a good rain storm the bridge can be extremely slippery, and sometimes the waters can even swell above the bridge, making it impossible to cross. Marked pups are sent across this bridge into the Marked territory, and left to starve or be picked up by the existing Marked wolves.

Stonewilde From the bank of the Great River to Eriacre, everything from boulders to pebbles cover this stretch of land. On the bank of the river there are mostly just pebbles, but at Eriacre there are many large boulders. If you can find a flat rock or even just a boulder you can soak up all the sun you want or just cool down after a long trip. There are no trees here and no grasses. Mainly weeds and mosses grow here. It's a nice resting place if you're heading for the mountains.

Eriacre Trees everywhere. Twisted trunks, drooping branches, in-the-way roots. Everything you'd normall find in a forest. Squirrels jump energetically from tree to tree, birds flutter through the bright green leaves. Everything. There are many places to shelter here, but also many places to play and hide. This is where most Marked wolves lived, simply because it is safe. Bright colors help them blend in, and this could be known as a sort of HQ.There is a small pool of water in a clearing somewhere near the middle of Eriacre. There are many clearings, though very few are large enough to truly be called that. Eriacre used to stretch all the way to the mountains, but a wildfire struck here a long time ago and destroyed nearly half of the prescious forest before it started raining. Now the burned part has been renamed Newshade, and it is no longer known as part of Eriacre, except by those who were there to see it burn, which were very few.

Newshade Charred trees everywhere, fallen logs. This half of Eriacre was burned by a wildfire many years ago, and most of the trees are scattered and bare of bark. But if you look down, you will find new grass growing, and small trees sprouting from the fresh earth. This has been renamed Newshade, and it is a sign of hope for the few Marked wolves that live here.

Itysor
Falconlea Flat gray stone makes up the solid ground, breaking only wide enough for scraggly grasses to grow. Great boulders and chips of rock litter the ground, making this an unpleasant place to be. There is no shade, not that it is ever too warm here, and no shelter but for a few gaps under boulders. There are snakes and other reptiles here, along with small rodents. Also, the land's namesake: falcons and hawks. They are everywhere here, preying on the rodents and snakes the reside in this stony flatland.

Wintercliff A high cliff on the bottom side of the mountains, Wintercliff earns its name well. Covered in snow and extremely slick from constant ice, this is a dangerous place to be. But this is also the best defense for the Marked wolves. When threatened, the Marked wolves retreat up the mountain to safety. They have adapted to the slippery ledges of the cliff, while any other wolves will most likely slip and fall, especially if moving quickly. It is quite a view from the top of the cliff, though it is nothing compared to the Southrock.

Southrock Southrock is a huge, lone mountain on the south side of Freyvale. It makes up most of the southern border of the valley, along with Wintercliff. It is the largest of the mountains, and you can see it all the way from Aldlyn. If you stand on the top, you can see where the Kingdom splits from desert to plains. There are many caves all around this mountain, and some of the more lone wolves live here.

Freyvale Freyvale is a vast valley, where many Marked wolves make their homes once they settle into the pack. A very sheltered but resourceful place, it is the perfect land to race pups. In fact, this is where most pups are watched and cared for. On the north side, there is a vast range of mountains, which shield whatever waits on the other side from view. No Marked wolf has ever climbed these mountains to see what is on the other side. Many prey animals live here, such as deer and elk. But along with prey come other predators, and Freyvale is home to cougars and bobcats, though they usually steer clear of the brightly colored Marked wolves.
